12/6/2023 0 Comments Cat quest walkthrough![]() Big City DreamsĪt this time, it would be ideal to buy and make every available recipe from Estelle's and Oliver's catalog, as well as any other food item you learn to make from quests thus far. Talk to Kiva again for $1000 and a (17/21) Flan recipe. Simply make one of each type of food, which you should have done long ago. If you're entering from the south side, you should see a black cat named (07/56) Chompy (Cat). Jump off the top of the mountain with Inkwell to see what happens, then head into town. Put Inkwell on your head and talk to Autumn about the rockslide. At the entrance to the potion shop, pick up (06/56) Inkwell (Bird) before heading inside. There's also a dog around here to the east named (05/56) Boots (Dog) - pick him up too. Run over to the potion shop and, on your way, look for the blackbird named (04/56) Poe (Bird) and pick him up. Next, go to the left and enter the pink patch of trees. Talk to Maia again and ask if she needs anything to gain a new quest: Owl by Herself. Speak to Maia about the blockage to learn that Autumn, the potion girl, might be able to help with the rockslide blocking the mountain path. Add him to your list and then use your one potion to warp to the café. We're headed there for the story, but first, head up the path that leads northwest of the café, and you'll find (02/56) Tiger (Cat) just standin' around. After the intro scenes head forward and enter the cave by going next to it and pressing.Take a look at the map and look at Maia's Treehouse to the northeast. When you get close to it you'll see a little pop-up that tells you what level it is. Press and then press to go to the armor/weapon tab. Follow the path grabbing the blue orbs (they give experience). You'll reach a chest, open it and you can equip the armor you get on your second character. On the equip screen press to switch to it, and then equip it like you would normally. Just past it is an enemy, use to attack and to roll. You'll see a circle appear around the enemy which signifies it is about to attack, roll away and then start whacking it again when the attack is over. Go north and kill the enemy, then interact with the stone. You'll learn 2 spells, Flamepurr and Freezepaw, which will automatically be equipped on the Cat and Dog respectively. Flamepurr hits a relatively small AoE around you that does damage over time, and Freezepaw hits enemies above and below you. As I said on page 2, combat is basically spamming Freeze (freezepaw) as much as you can while clubbing enemies with your melee weapon. Keep going and you'll find an enemy you can lure into the spike trap. Further on you'll find 2 more enemies, and then 2 boxes past them. ![]() You can open these like chests, they give gold. The light always signifies an exit from the dungeon. Outside you'll see a stone with a blue heart, you can use it to save and heal, you can find them in most towns. Go north for a conversation, then enter the tower. Go north and then follow the spirit thing that has been talking to you into the teleporter. ![]() Once the conversation ends you'll finish the quest, and get your first achievement. Soak up that juicy 1.00 ratio on that 100 GS achievement. This is the world map, you walk across it in real time, and there are no instances. You just approach enemies and start smacking them, there is no battle screen. As a general rule I would fight all the enemies you see, that should keep you even with the level of the story quests, potentially even above it. Your next objective is northeast to the spirit. There is an ! over his head with a crown on it, which means he has a quest for you, talk to him and accept it. You'll see a book just to the east, this will let you cancel the quest if you're getting stomped or something I guess, you shouldn't need to use it. A white trail also appeared, follow it to a bush for a short scene, then enter the cave east of you, Seaside Cove. She sends you into the dungeon to find some ores for her. The spike traps do not activate immediately like the ones in the first dungeon, they activate after you walk over them, then go back down.
